Every production partner has its talent! That's why Renewbuilding works with a team of regular production partners, each with their own specialism. We do this simply because circular hulls and CLT constructions, for example, require different expertise. CLT stands for cross-laminated timber. Our production partners each take a critical look at the entire creation of the product. They look at the application of sustainable materials in the constructions, elements and hulls and pay attention to a sustainable production process. This includes the energy efficiency of the production environment, the reuse of residual materials and the number of transport movements.

The most advanced equipment is used at the production sites. The CNC (computer numerical control) machines work with an accuracy of one hundredth of a millimetre. Machine cutting and marking of each unique part minimises the risk of error. So, right first time!

WOODBASED

Wood forms the basis of our Green Structures. The solution lies in nature. It has been carefully engineered for 4.5 billion years, so why not use it as a starting point? Wood has many advantages, such as:

• Wood has a clean look, no unhealthy fumes.
• Wooden houses store CO2.
• New trees absorb CO2 (sustainable forestry).
• No need for products that produce a lot of CO2.
• Timber construction is breathable/vapour permeable.
• Timber is relatively light: light machines and lighter foundations.
• Timber is extremely suitable for earthquake-proof construction.
• Meets requirements in terms of fire resistance, etc.
• One of the best sound insulating materials on the market.

REGISTRATION AIRFRAME ELEMENTS

Renewbuilding wants to register every element of the shell. This way, the material remains traceable and, more importantly, valuable.
